R3 Safety is helping distributors prepare for flu season by stocking DuPont™ RelyOn™ Personal Biosecurity Kits for immediate delivery. R3 Safety is the exclusive wholesaler of the kit, which is designed to help minimize disease transmission in the event of a pandemic flu outbreak.
The DuPont™ Personal Biosecurity Kit contains a two-week supply of products that comply with EPA and FDA requirements, including:
-
DuPont™ RelyOn™ Antiseptic Hand Spray
- DuPont™ RelyOn™ Multi-Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner
- a digital thermometer
- 30 surgical masks
- two pair of nitrile gloves
- a travel bag, and
- a user guide.
While the kit is designed to reduce exposure to a wide range of human pathogens, it is not a substitute for good hygiene and avoiding personal contact when appropriate.
R3 Safety General Manager Jim Walker said, “Distributors should consider talking with their customers about incorporating biosecurity practices into their business continuity plans. Having DuPont Personal Biosecurity Kits on hand will allow for a quick response in the event of a flu outbreak to help maintain business operations and raise the level of hygiene in the workplace.”
He added, “We are stocking kits for our employees because we want to give them the ability to take action and reduce their risk if a flu outbreak occurs.”
